If you love dogs and weddings and live in Southern California, we’d love to meet you! Pet attendant roles with I Dog Too are independent contractor based, with weddings typically taking place Thursday through Sunday. Please note this is a casual role.

Our mission: At I Dog Too, our mission is to provide stress-free care for pets on their parents’ wedding day, ensuring they are loved and cared for as if they were our own.

Who you are: We’re looking for responsible, dog-loving individuals who are comfortable working in dynamic environments, can carry themselves professionally, and are confident caring for dogs while engaging with clients and guests. We support all love. This means all team members must be LGBTQIA+ friendly and affirming at every wedding we serve.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist dog(s) with their ceremony role, dressing them in ceremony attire, greeting guests, and posing for photos

  • Safely transport dog(s) to and from wedding venues and accommodation locations

  • Provide plenty of water, potty breaks, walks, and treats, as needed throughout the event

  • Monitor dog(s)’ well-being at all times, using sound judgement to remove them from situations if they appear anxious or stressed

  • Communicate professionally with clients, guests, and fellow wedding vendors

  • Follow detailed event timelines while calmly managing last-minute changes or challenges

  • Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video content showcasing the dog(s) day while in your care

  • Administer medication according to written client instructions, when applicable
