General Questions
-
We’re so glad you asked! A regular pet sitter is typically focused on caring for your dog while you’re away, while a wedding pet attendant specializes in the unique logistics of having your dog be part of your wedding day.
At I Dog Too, we’re not just there to watch your dog. We help manage everything that comes with having your pup participate in a wedding: from transportation and getting ready to ceremony participation, photos, potty breaks, downtime, and safely getting them back to their hotel or home.
We’re also experienced in working alongside wedding planners, photographers, venues, vendors, and guests, while navigating the moving parts of a wedding-day timeline. In other words, we’re part handler, part pet planner, and part comfort companion!
We’re also fully insured and bonded, and every booking includes a customized plan for your dog and wedding day.

We recommend booking our services well in advance to ensure availability, especially for popular event dates. We tend to book the months of May, September and October a year in advance. We are currently booking for 2026-2027 weddings!
Contact us as soon as your wedding details are confirmed to secure your dedicated pet attendant.
-
We are fully insured and bonded. Our coverage includes caring for and transporting your dogs before, during, and after your ceremony. We can also provide a COI to your venue or planner upon request.
-
To ensure we provide the best care for your pet we will require details such as your pet's age and weight, medications, dietary and mobility requirements. We will also ask you questions regarding your dog’s temperament, behavior, and any triggers to ensure we can tailor our services to meet their specific needs.
-
We’re not built for quick cameos, every booking includes full care, transport, and coordination to ensure your dog is safe and supported.
-
On the wedding day we will brush and spritz your pet’s coat with one of our pup-safe colognes, however, we are not professional dog groomers.
We recommend having your dog bathed and groomed the week of the wedding. We can also pick your pup up from the groomers prior to your wedding if you would like.
Logistics Questions
-
Absolutely! We can pick your dog up from your home, hotel, a petsitter, or another agreed-upon location and safely transport them to your wedding or event. We’ll coordinate the timing with your wedding day timeline so your pup arrives when they’re needed!
-
Yes! One of the most popular parts of our service is taking your dog home or back to their hotel when their role in the wedding is complete. This means you can keep celebrating without worrying about who is responsible for your pup.
We always make sure they’re fed dinner, gone potty, and safely settled back at home, at their hotel, or at another pre-arranged location before we depart.
-
We're happy to stay with your dog as long as needed. If care is required late into the night or overnight, we'll include that in your plan ahead of time.
-
Yes! Our Slumber Pawty package provides overnight care for couples who want their dog to stay with us after the wedding.
We can board your pup at a handler’s place or stay with them at a pet-friendly hotel or in your home.
-
We charge $0.73 per mi beyond an initial 50mi (round trip) from zip code 90731. If your wedding involves long distances, multiple locations, or lodging, additional fees may apply.
Package Questions
-
At this time, our minimum booking requirement is 4 hours, especially for venues that require a longer travel time. This allows us to ensure the trip is worthwhile for our team while still giving your pup the attention and care they deserve.
A few ways we can make the most of the 4 hour window is through walks and playtime before and after your Ceremony (either on or off-site) feeding your pup dinner, assisting them in greeting guests upon arrival or mingling with them during cocktail hour, and taking photos around the venue.
-
Absolutely. And you can even do this after you’ve booked. We understand that wedding timelines can change, so additional hours can be added to your package as needed, subject to availability.
