Meet Aimee, Founder, I Dog Too

I Dog Too was born after my husband, Jonathan, and I wanted to include our two pups, Charlie, a sassy Cavapoo who thinks he’s the boss, and Ernie, a fun-loving Bernedoodle who thinks he’s a lot smaller than what he is, on our wedding day. We were living in Washington DC at the time and we were getting married in sunny SoCal, so I did what any dog mom would do and set out on a road trip with my future mother-in-law across country with our two dogs (pro tip: great way to get to know your future in-laws!). Jon and I were so excited by the idea of having our boys by our side we hadn’t considered some of the basic logistics:

  • How would our dogs get to and from our wedding venue?

  • Who would manage our dogs during and after the wedding ceremony?

  • What if they jumped on my wedding dress with dirty paws?

  • Who was on potty clean-up duties?

  • Who would feed them dinner, walk and play with them?

The last thing we wanted was to take a friend or family member away from celebrating our wedding with us!

While we did end up finding someone for our wedding, the search for a dedicated wedding pet attendant in SoCal was difficult. So soon after our wedding we moved to LA (end of 2023), with the vision to create a tailored wedding pet attendant service for Southern California couples.

At I Dog Too, we are dedicated to ensuring your pets are paw-fect wedding guests, giving them the love, care, and attention they deserve while treating them just like one of our own.

I created this business to help couples like you feel the same joy we did and I can’t wait to assist your pup in being part of your special day.
